Thank you to all the people have contributed to and visited Richard’s website. Never, in our wildest dreams, did we imagine the site could be so rich and joyous.

It has revealed unexpectedly the powerful impact Richard had on people’s lives and how a disparate group of people not known to one another can collectively make something so cohesive that captures the spirit and essence of Richard so beautifully. We set out to have a place where people unable to attend Richard’s funeral could have a presence at the rite of passage. It did this and it was clear that there was more to come and the pages filled out with diverse contributions to this point where we paused.

Richard would have been 68 on 25th December 2017. In the last year a commemorative bench has been commissioned and installed at Skinningrove - a project in itself that showed yet again the collective spirit of all the people who's lives were touched by Richard. You can read the full story on the new One Year On page we have added.
